Frequently Asked Questions About Our Services
Is the application harmful to my children or pets?
We are using chemicals, which brings with it an obvious negligible risk. Out of an abundance of caution, it is recommended that you wait until the products are completely dry before allowing children and/or pets to come into contact with the treated areas. This typically takes no more than 10-30 minutes, depending on the weather.
Will rain or water affect the application?
In rare cases, water can affect the application. Our products dry very quickly, and once dry, are not affected by water. We will not apply while it is raining or if the foundation is soaking wet because the products may not dry and set up properly. With that being said, there are times where an unexpected storm may come while we are spraying. If this happens, and our technicians deem the service rendered to be inefficient, we will automatically return to retreat the property at no charge. Remember, all of our services come with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee!
When will I see the results?
A good rule of thumb is to allow for 7 to 10 days before seeing optimal results. After the initial treatment you may notice an increase in spider/bug activity indoors for the first few days. This is because the spiders and bugs that were already inside are seeking a place to hide as they can no longer travel in and out of the home without dying. After the 7 to 10 day grace period, you should then see an immediate decline in insects both indoors and outdoors. We also recommend the use of our pre-baited sticky traps for controlling any inside activity.
Do your sprays work on Wasps/Hornets?
The insecticides we use are labeled for wasps and hornets. However, the results can vary based on each home. Many times, homes may have nests or hives that are not accessible to the technician and the spray. They may be inside the actual infrastructure of the home. Additionally, where they are primarily airborne, the chances of them coming into contact with the product are reduced. We will look for and address all hives and nests, and certainly target the wasps and hornets as best as possible, but may do so with limited results.
When can I mow?
The fertilizers we use may be either granular or liquid. It is recommended that with the use of either a granular or liquid fertilizer, the lawn receive moisture before mowing. Moisture can come in the form of a watering cycle, a rain storm, or morning dew.
When can I water?
On lawn applications where weed control has been applied it is recommended that you wait at least 2 to 4 hours. This is the minimum time required to allow the weed control to absorb into the plant. With respect to just fertilizer, water is necessary to activate it and thus requires no waiting period.
How often should I fertilize my yard?
The nitrogen in the fertilizer will begin to dissipate after approximately one month and post-emergent herbicides treat only the weeds present at the time of service. Therefore, for optimal color and weed control results, the lawn should be treated every 4 to 6 weeks.
Do I need to be home at the time of service?
Unless we are treating the inside of the home in which case someone would need to be home to let our technician in, it is not necessary to be home at the time of service. In fact, most of our customers are gone during the daytime hours. We have a policy to always knock upon arriving. If no one is home we will service the property, leave a flag in the yard, and hang the invoice with all information at the front door.
What do I do if Iām not satisfied with the results?
All of the services provided are 100% guaranteed. This means that if at any time you have questions, concerns, or are not satisfied with any of our services or products, simply call and let us know. We will address the concern promptly, and if necessary, retreat the property at no additional charge. We place customer service at the top of our list and pride ourselves on being able to give you the personal attention you deserve, while delivering superior results.
What payment methods do you accept?
